Advanced Clinical Assessment (GP)

The module will delve into the understanding of the evidence base that underpins clinical decision-making and critically explore the interprofessional context of care delivery and professional boundaries.

This module is open to nurses and allied healthcare professionals who work in a neonatal setting and will help them gain competence in undertaking a structured patient consultation.

This unit is suitable for practitioners interested in developing a clinical practice or protocol for their own clinical environment and providing the evidence base to support the practice.

This unit is designed for nursing or allied health professionals who wish to develop skills in critical appraisal and evidence utilisation.

Recognising and Responding to the Deteriorating Patient (Online)

The course focuses on normal and abnormal pathophysiology and the subsequent skills and knowledge needed to recognise and respond to renal patients who are at risk of deterioration.

Tuition fees

Home students

The standard fee for each CPD module in Clinical Skills for home students is as follows. Other fees may apply depending on your employer.

Overseas students

The standard fee for each CPD module in Clinical Skills for overseas students is as follows.

  • 2023/24 – £128 per credit
  • 2024/25 – £133 per credit
