What happens at a Mature Students Summer School?

Would you like the chance to meet other mature students, find out more about the resources and support that will be available alongside your course and brush up on your study skills?

We're hosting one-day summer schools specifically for mature students returning to higher education after a gap (those 21+ at the start of their degree), designed to help you settle in and give you a head start before your time at Sheffield officially begins.

The days will involve short skills refresher sessions, a chance to familiarise yourself with parts of the campus, and some introductions from key University services.

Light refreshments will be provided at in-person dates.

Where do the Summer Schools take place?

In-person dates take place at 301 Glossop Road, S10 2HL. Accessibility information about 301 Glossop road is available via our AccessAble webpage here.

Online dates take place via Zoom. A link will be shared ahead of the session.
