This degree follows the same syllabus as the BEng Mechanical Engineering. Your learning is complemented with a year putting what you've learnt into practice, working with real mechanical engineers in industry. You'll also learn about the production and use of energy. Years one to three are the same as for the BEng (H810). Year four allows further specialisation and study with the emphasis on an individual research project which may be carried out in association with industry.

A discipline focused on improving the way we live and with sustainability at its core, you'll study structures, water, geotechnics and environmental issues. Courses on offer include Civil Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering and Architectural Engineering.
