Tuesday, 13 January: Talk by Dr Rahul Mandal about Baking and Nuclear Physics. Rahul, a Senior Engineer in the University of Sheffield’s Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, is a former winner of The Great British Bake Off

Wednesday, 25 February: Talk by Emily Pieters, Chief Executive of the Harmony Works Project, which aims to provide inspirational music education and opportunity to enrich the lives of young people in Sheffield.

Monday 23 March: Talk by Dr Tori Herridge on ‘Women in Archaeology.’ Tori, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, is a palaeontologist whose research addresses evolutionary and environmental questions

Tuesday, 14 April: Talk by Ben Keywood of the Sheffield/Rotherham Wildlife Trust which cares for 15 local nature reserves as well as a nature-friendly farm at Ughill.

Monday 18 May: Talk by Professor Dame Pamela Shaw on ‘The impact on Human Health of Translational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield’. The research of the world-leading institute, SITraN, of which she is Director, accelerates breakthrough treatments for neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and Motor Neurone Disease

Tuesday 15 December: Christmas event at the Hallamshire Golf Club, with a talk from Dr Cheryle Berry about her diverse role as trustee in several charities: ‘Never a Dull Moment’
