What you said, and what we did

We continue to seek your feedback so we can improve our service for students. Developments we've made to our service in response to your feedback include:

  • At a recent focus group, participants said they would like the option of bookable appointments in addition to ISSAC's drop in service.
    • We have introduced appointment slots that students can book for an online meeting with an adviser through Google calendar.
  • Participants also said they would like to receive email summaries of their discussions at ISSAC's drop-in.
    • We now send these as standard.

Practical help

Very friendly and understanding. My doubts were cleared in the most effective manner and I would any day use the services for my future queries.

Listening and advice

When I came I had mixed feelings of sadness and anger and I think I spoke emotionally but she handled that quite well and when she was speaking to me she was calm and showed me that she understood my position.

Speed of service/access

My visa got rejected due to some miscommunication and … sorted it out within a few hours. Her colleague helped me book an appointment as well as advised on submitting the visa documentation later on. I am so grateful for their help. A very friendly and supportive group of people.
