Overview of the programme

Crafts and Games

Join our Ambassadors and fellow students each week for a relaxed session of arts and crafts, or choose from a selection of table-top games.

Culture Compass

Led by Dr Tim Cooper, these sessions provide an opportunity for students from different countries and backgrounds to explore how we can better adapt to new surroundings and work with others across cultural boundaries.

Local History Walks

Develop a greater sense of belonging to your new home city on these walking tours, led by local historian Dr Tim Cooper. There is a different walk each week, starting from central campus or the city centre.

Global Cafe

The weekly flagship event for Global Campus. Drop in at any time for free tea and coffee and an opportunity to socialise and chat with our Global Campus Ambassadors and fellow students. A great way to keep making friends throughout the year!

Let's Dance!

A fun and friendly weekly dance activity led by members of our Global Campus Ambassador team.

GC Socials

Monthly social events on Friday evenings, at which our Global Campus Ambassadors help you explore different aspects of what Sheffield has to offer.
