Data Visualisation is an Interest Group of Shef.AI, the multidisciplinary community for AI researchers at TUoS, which is supported by the Centre for Machine Intelligence.

Introduction

We are interested in creating effective and efficient visualisations to communicate information to various audiences. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, including researchers from all faculties, members from the IT team, the library and the knowledge engagement team.

  • Data visualizations for explainable AI

Aims of the interest group

  • Build a vibrant community of data visualisation enthusiasts, within the university and in the Sheffield area.
  • Support collaboration in the field of data visualisation, including the development of new theories and techniques, as well as the applications of existing tools in new contexts.
  • Provide a platform to share knowledge, skills, and best practices related to data visualisation.
