Accepting an offer of work

Off

You will need to accept any offers of work before you are able to start work.

You can accept offers of work via your myJobshop account. If you are unable to accept an offer, please inform your hiring manager(s). Further guidance can be found below.

If you would like to accept an offer of work

After completing your right to work check and the second stage of your registration, your written statement of particulars will be available for you to review within your myJobshop account.

Once you have read this document, you will be able to “Accept” the offer of work within your myJobshop account

Upon accepting the offer of work, you will be fully compliant and ready to work as a casual worker/GTA at the University of Sheffield.

If you are unable to accept an offer of work

Your hiring manager(s) email address can be obtained via your myJobshop account. When logged in to your dashboard, under "Things To Do", click Start next to your offer and then refer to "Contact Details".

If you are unable to continue to undertake the work

During an assignment, if you are no longer able to undertake the work, please notify your hiring manager as soon as possible.
