Ping Chen
Film and theatre producer, curator
Ping gained his Masters degree from Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle, France. His work focuses on independent film and theatre. He is the curator and film selector of the China Independent Film Festival (CIFF) and the co-founder and artistic director of the Contemporary Theatre Festival for Young Practitioners (Nanjing). He has been involved with a number of international cooperation film and theatre projects with universities and arts organizations, working at the intersection of research and practice. He is also a lecturer of film studies at Nanjing University of the Arts since 2012.

Ziyi Li
Theatre director and performer
Ziyi gained his Master degree of theatre and opera from the Arts College, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is now a lecturer of theatre at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a member of Shanghai-based theatre company Grass Stage. His research interests include theatre performance and direction and the relationship between studio theatre and its audience. He is also a director and performer of theatre and drama.

Kai Yu
Theatre worker, independent artist
Kai is a member of Shanghai-based theatre compnay Grass Stage and the founder of the experimental theatre group ‘So What’. Her research and performance interests mainly focus on embodied expressions and the linkage between historical memories and contemporary life. She has experience in experimental theatre and performance (e.g. ‘Madman Story’ and ‘World Factory’) in theatres and other indoor/outdoor public spaces of various cities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, India and the US.
