Sheffield hosts Griffith University leaders to mark WUN membership

Sheffield welcomes Griffith University leaders to celebrate their new WUN membership and explore collaborations in advanced manufacturing and innovation.

Three University of Sheffield colleagues stand alongside two colleagues from Griffith University in the Firth Court gardens and smile towards the camera.

We were delighted to host Griffith University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carolyn Evans, and Vice President (Global), Marnie Watson, at the University of Sheffield this week. The visit celebrated Griffith's new membership in the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) and highlighted a long-standing partnership, as Griffith is one of our more established Australian exchange partners and a popular study abroad destination for our Law and International Business Management students.

Griffith's Vice-Chancellor showed a particular interest in our approach to innovation, including the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) and Northern Gritstone. We were delighted to provide a tour of the AMRC Factory 2050 to showcase potential opportunities for future collaborative research.
