The reason I chose Sheffield University was simple, and just like most of international students, the world ranking of the university and the living fee are critical for my decision making. The university has constantly ranked high in the QS World University Rankings, which represent the world-wide recognized degree with high reputation. Furthermore, living in Sheffield is a great choice to experience an English-style city with relatively lower budgets comparing to other major metropolis areas like London or Manchester. Therefore, I had a great and fully-harvested time there.

What were your favourite things about or best memories of the University of Sheffield?
Sheffield is a great place for living and studying without a doubt, and this city will become a part of you. Firstly, in my opinion, the weather in Sheffield probably the best in the UK, and is the most green city in the Europe, which guaranteed the high quality living environment. Furthermore, the locals are very friendly compared to Londoners, you can truly feel that they welcome anyone from anywhere. And for those who wish to stay in the UK after graduation, Sheffield is continually transforming herself into a smart city with an innovative mind, which brings opportunities for you.
Please explain how has your qualification and/or time at Sheffield helped you in your career?
The qualification from Sheffield University Management School was immensely helpful in getting my current position of a Fortune Global 500 company in Taiwan. However, I believe that the problem-solving ability I learnt at university is actually lot more precious than the qualification, and the way I faced obstacles have helped me figure out business issues.
What has been your greatest achievement to date?
Participating in a group led by top-tier managers to reform organisational vision.
