iHuman PGR Showcase
Event details

Monday 9 March 2026 - 11:00am to 4:00pm
Description
The iHuman network is an interdisciplinary research institute integrating social sciences, humanities, and STEM to develop holistic understandings of human behaviour, culture, and health. The network includes disability studies, inclusive research, and promoting positive research cultures. In its nature, iHuman provides a unique opportunity for community building across disciplines.
This event is a chance for iHuman PGRs to get together and showcase their work to one another. This day event will feature presentations from students, with time for questions and discussions. We will also dedicate time to discussing what PGRs want from the iHuman network. If you would like to attend please complete the google form below with a short summary of your work and a presentation abstract. Not everyone will present due to time restrictions, but we would love everyone to attend ready to discuss their work with others.
Please submit your abstracts by Friday 20th February 2026.
The event will take place at INOX on the 9th March 2026 from 11:00-16:00, with lunch and refreshments provided. We have limited numbers and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the deadline for access and dietary requirements is Monday 23rd February 2026.

How we understand being ‘human’ differs between disciplines and has changed radically over time. We are living in an age marked by rapid growth in knowledge about the human body and brain, and new technologies with the potential to change them.
