We are delighted to welcome Dr Doreen Kembabzi to our History Research Seminar series. Doreen will be joining us on Tuesday, 10 December, 4.15-5.30pm. She will be presenting a paper entitled 'Reservoirs of Venereal Diseases: Women and Medico-Moral Discourses in Idi Amin’s Uganda'.

Doreen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Warwick University. Her research focuses on gender, sexuality, urbanization, cosmopolitanism, ethnicity, political culture, nationalism, state violence, and slavery.
