Anima is an online consultation platform which seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record, improving how you access care and appointments, and how our staff assess your condition.
You should set up an Anima account ASAP if you haven’t already got one. This will help prevent delays when you need medical help in future.
Anima can be used for any type of medical query or appointment request, but if you are arranging a Nurse appointment (e.g. vaccinations, bloods, contraception advice, LTC reviews) you can also phone reception to book. Our GP, Nurse Practitioner and Physio appointments are arranged via Anima, so reception may direct you to Anima if you phone to arrange these.
Anima helps us direct you to the most appropriate person for your medical needs, whilst ensuring we make use of our limited resources in the safest and most efficient way.
In some cases an appointment may not be necessary to resolve your query. In these cases we may respond to your Anima request via message or give you a quick phone call. You will be notified when we have responded to your Anima request. Responses can be viewed in your Anima portal.
All appointments will continue to be offered according to clinical urgency and need.
