Profile

I am a Professor of Speech and Language Therapy in the School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing & Midwifery (AHPNM), University of Sheffield.

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1997 and completed my PhD in 2002. Before joining the University of Sheffield, I worked as a clinical Speech and Language Therapist in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire NHS Trust, St Andrews Hospital, Northampton and Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.

I am also a Registered Intermediary with the Home Office as part of the Vulnerable Witness Scheme. I am a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
