Campus activities during graduation week
Your graduation day isn’t just about the ceremony, it’s a chance to celebrate everything you’ve achieved with the people who supported you along the way.
Campus activities
After collecting your robes and having your official photographs taken on Level 4 of the Students' Union, head downstairs to the concourse to celebrate! Make sure to arrive early so you don't miss out on:
- Hot and cold food stalls
- Live musical entertainment
- Last-minute essentials at 'Our Shop'
- A dedicated Kids’ Zone (next to the SU auditorium) to keep the children entertained during the livestream
Fun photo backdrops for family shots and selfies
Other photo opportunities will be available on the Students' Union concourse, including:
- The 'Ey Up Sheffield’ foliage wall In the Students' Union
- The Mural to the left of the shop entrance
- Roary will be making an appearance after each ceremony to pose for photos
- A range of A0 photo frame props
- "Class of 2026” Light Up Letters under the underpass
- Flower wall next to the Alfred Denny building
- Two giant deckchairs on the concourse, and at Firth Court crescent
- A Logo wall in Firth Court Quad
- A logo wall in Krebs Cafe in Firth Court
Food, drink and essentials
Outside the Octagon and in the Students' Union
The Concourse bar will offer champagne, prosecco, Pimm’s, gin, beer and soft drinks for graduates and their guests from 10am until an hour after the last ceremony, each day.
Coffee Revolution, the SU’s coffee shop, will be open from 7.30am each day to serve you hot and iced coffees, matchas, cold drinks, and teas! Fresh pastries, savouries and sweet treats will be available each day and hot sandwiches will also be available from 11.30am. Coffee Rev will also be open until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for everybody graduating later in the day.
Our Shop is the place to pick up sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks, and other daily essentials on the go. They have all those last minute graduation items you need from hair grips and tissues, to batteries and drinks!
Bar One will be serving drinks from 9am and food from 11.30am every day, and streaming every Graduation ceremony live on the big screen. Offering an extended summer menu of burgers, loaded fries and more, Bar One is the perfect stop-off for lunch or dinner! Check out our summer cocktail menu and soak up the atmosphere in Sheffield’s biggest beer garden or take the load off and cool down in our air-conditioned bar. Also find us in the SU Plaza, where we’ll be running a prosecco bar for every Graduation ceremony.
Baked will be open from 10am every day offering delicious sausage & vegan sausage rolls, tasty pasties, savoury bakes, pizza slices, sweet treats and hot and cold drinks all Baked to perfection.
Pitt Stop tasty filled pitta and salad bowls built how you choose served from 11am until 3pm. Chargrilled chicken, halloumi, falafel, tofu and more, there's plenty of choice for everyone with a varied selection of veggie and vegan options, plus meal deals to satisfy any appetite.
Frosty Temptation - a local, vintage-style ice cream cart serving Sheffield and the surrounding areas, known for their delicious, locally sourced Our Cow Molly ice cream.

On the SU Concourse, celebrate graduation with beautiful blooms from Sheffield Florist, Plantology. Perfect for gifting to graduates, thanking loved ones, or marking the moment with something special. Outside, we’ll also have a bar, food and souvenir stalls, and music setting the mood for a very enjoyable day!

- 'Made in Sheffield' items
University gifts and souvenirs are an excellent way to remember your time at the University of Sheffield. A full range of gifts and souvenirs, including 'Made in Sheffield' items, will be available for purchase from the Print Service stand on the concourse on graduation days.
University Heritage Gifts
Take a piece of Sheffield home with you. You can find our full collection on the concourse throughout graduation week. Missed us on the day? Don't worry. You can shop the entire range online 7 days a week through myPrint, making it easy to grab the perfect memento whenever you're ready.
Alumni mug and free graduation clip
Every graduate is offered a free ‘Class of 2026’ mug courtesy of the Alumni Network. This iconic memento can be collected from the Alumni Network Stand, located TBC
You can also access a free personalised graduation clip. This captures your walk across the stage during the ceremony and can be downloaded and shared with friends and family. You can register at any time for the clip; you just need to provide the date and time of your ceremony.
Graduation by night
Club Foundry is taking over every night of Graduation Week, Monday to Friday, with the ultimate post-grad afterparty, celebrating the iconic sounds of your student life. We’re loading up the decks with the best music from your favourite Foundry student nights - Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit and Soul Jam - all mixed into one huge celebration of the nights that made uni unforgettable. 11.30pm-3.30am. Plus Parents/ Guardians go FREE! Tickets on sale now
Bar One’s Graduation Pre Party is on nightly Mon-Fri with DJs from 10pm until 1am, hosting the perfect pre bar for Club Foundry. Bring the family down and show them the nightlife of a Sheffield Uni Student or start the party off with your course mates. Find the usual great value drinks, good vibes, photo ops and it's free entry. Please note Bar One is an 18+ venue 8pm onwards, and prior to 8pm under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
Sheffield SU Life Membership allows you to return and relive your student days whenever you wish! Purchase for just £10 to get access to the Students' Union building, including club nights and bars, the ability to sign a friend into the Students' Union, and join your favourite Students' Union societies (subject to individual societies conditions).
