- Profile
-
I graduated from the Department of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna in Italy in 1999. I moved to the UK after graduating to complete my PhD at University of Liverpool where I studied
Despite my conviction that she would never settle in the UK after my PhD, I then joined the EPSRC National Service for Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy at the University of Manchester and was a PDRA there until 2010.
I joined the Materials Science and Engineering Department at the University of Sheffield in 2011 working as teaching technician, after taking a year break to look after my two boys.
I joined MEE in 2015 initially as Technical Team Leader for the MBCE theme and now as University Teacher since 2017.
I teach and develop Materials Science and Engineering labs to UG and PGT students across the Faculty of Engineering.
My main teaching interests are polymers chemistry and characterisation methods in Materials Science.
