What is the Centre for Engineering Education (CEE)?
CEE is a new initiative that supports our teaching staff and GTA's, helping them deliver excellent teaching and enhancing the student experience whilst raising the reputation and profile of Engineering Education at Sheffield.
What is the purpose of CEE?
CEE is relevant to teaching-active staff and those who lead, influence and support the delivery of education.
Our goals:
External impact: To raise the reputation and profile of Engineering Education at Sheffield - this will involve creating open educational scholarship outputs such as peer reviewed papers and conference presentations
Staff development: To raise the profile of staff who teach and the GTA cohort, recognising their contribution to high quality engineering education
Enhance the Student experience: To support activities led by teaching-active staff and GTAs, including internal education projects aligned with key university, faculty and departmental action plans.
Benefits to teaching active staff:

An internal mentoring scheme will be available building on the expertise of successful educators
Staff will be recognised for engaging with CEE
