Black Out Test

Essential maintenance blackout test on critical electrical infrastructure that will affect the majority of the
Western Bank campus (the buildings identified within this Notification of Works) constituting a test of the standby generation systems
within The Transformer. The activity will isolate the site from mains power and test fixed backup electrical generation.

Vital is now on-site and investigating the problem. The BMS team will monitor temperatures and report accordingly. Operations in the Energy Centre have now been restored and heating services are returning to normal. Building temperatures are rising but it may take a while to reach set point.
