Kim Nguyen joined the University of Sheffield as a Lecturer in Economics in 2024. Prior to this, she worked at the University of Lincoln as a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Banking and Finance. She obtained her PhD in Finance and Risk from the University of Nottingham, where she applied behavioural economics to address issues in financial markets. Since then, her research interests have included behavioural economics, finance, sustainability, and fintech. Some of her current projects focus on risk-shifting behaviour, anchoring bias, ESG investment, fintech, and financial literacy.
