Daniel Harrison

Daniel joined the University in December 2020 as the Director of Health and Safety. The Health and Safety team provide the University with high quality expertise, knowledge and assistance in the field of safety regulation and practice in University activities.

Daniel has worked exclusively in Health and Safety in the higher education sector both in the UK and abroad and in professional and academic roles. His professional interests are in occupational hygiene, Health and Safety management systems and research safety which led to his involvement in the writing of the guidance to the sector on Managing Health and Safety in Research. Prior to joining the University, Daniel worked at London Metropolitan University.
