Welcome from the Dean of the School of Clinical Dentistry
I write to offer you a very warm welcome as a new student in the School of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sheffield.
During Welcome Week, you will be introduced to teaching staff on the programme, and will be allocated an Academic Tutor whose role is to provide pastoral support and academic guidance.
If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email to pgtdentalteam@sheffield.ac.uk.
Should you believe that, for whatever reason, you may have difficulty in taking up your place, please contact us immediately rather than wait until you are due to arrive in Sheffield.
I hope you will enjoy your time studying with us; I look forward to meeting you.
Yours sincerely,
Professor Ali Khurram
Dean of School of Clinical Dentistry
University of Sheffield

Occupational Health questionnaire reminder
You will have already received an email with an Occupational Health Questionnaire from MyCority. If you have not received this email please check your spam folder.
If you have not already done so we need you to complete and submit this health questionnaire as soon as you can. This will have been emailed to the email address which was on your application to the University of Sheffield.
All students will have a compulsory appointment with Occupational Health during Intro Week.
Police report/certificate of good conduct
As a requirement of your course we require you to obtain a police report/certificate of good conduct from your home country and any country you have visited for a three month period over the last 5 years. We require you to bring this official document to Sheffield with you and hand it in at your DBS appointment which will be arranged for you in Intro Week.
