Sheffield University Management School and CRAFiC are pleased to share that Dr Callum Ward, Lecturer in Valuation and Governance, has been appointed as one of Finance and Space journals’ new Early Career & Digital Media Editors, alongside Renee Tapp of University of Florida.

Finance and Space is a pioneering interdisciplinary journal focusing on diverse aspects of the spatial production of finance and the financial production of space. Aligned with the Management School’s values of being socially responsible, collaborative and ambitious, the journal addresses some of the most profound processes and pressing challenges of our time. These topics include digitisation, neoliberalism, financialisation, globalisation and deglobalisation, uneven development, power, and inequality, (in)security, the environmental crisis and the role of finance in building more sustainable economies.

As Early Career & Digital Media Editor, Callum will represent the journal, work on commissioning, handle submissions and promote the journal in social media.

Professor Adam Leaver, Director of CRAFiC, said, “Callum’s expertise in valuation and governance, particularly in the context of accounting and finance, will be a great asset to the journal. His research, which delves into the governance and financing of land and housing, will enrich the academic discourse and community at Finance and Space journal.”
