Dr Anthony Stevenson

Anthony joined the AMRC in 2017 and has worked on numerous InnovateUK, ATI, Horizon 2020 and customer funded programmes, as well as supporting other R&D projects within the centre. As Head of Innovation he manages a broad portfolio of projects in the Composite Centre covering multiple disciplines; this includes deciding the allocation of HVMC funds to revenue projects. He leads the research grant writing activity advising, guiding and supporting both early and mid career researchers with their bids and was an integral part of the team which won £58m funding for the new COMPASS facility. Prior to joining the AMRC he was Technical Manager at ELG Carbon Fibre, the first company in the world to produce 1000 tons of recycled carbon fibre in a year. He also has extensive experience in biobased composites and product development.
