Description

This is your chance to reconnect with old friends, see some familiar faces, and share where your career has taken you since your Sheffield days.

It’s also a perfect excuse to come back and see how much the Steel city, especially its landscape architecture, has evolved. Over the last decade, Sheffield’s had a major transformation, with innovative regeneration and green infrastructure projects that are now setting the standard across the industry.

One standout is the award-winning Grey to Green SUDS scheme, a bold blend of sustainable planting and water management that’s transformed urban spaces in the city centre. It’s now fully matured and well worth seeing in person.

As part of the day, we’ll be offering exclusive guided tours of key sites, led by the very landscape architects and planners who brought them to life. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the design thinking, challenges, and lessons learned.

You'll also hear from fellow alumni working on exciting projects, with time built in for lunch and refreshments, conversation, and plenty of chances to reconnect and share ideas.

Come back to Sheffield - it’s changed, but it still feels like home.

Email alumni@sheffield.ac.uk if you're interested in attending.
