The University of Sheffield is excited to announce that award-winning astrophysicist Dr. Emily Rickman will be your guest speaker at the upcoming Forged in Sheffield, Shaping the Future launch event in San Francisco.
Embark on an interstellar voyage with alumna Dr. Emily Rickman, a scientist for the European Space Agency (ESA) at the Space Telescope Science Institute and Global Winner of the 2024 British Council Science and Sustainability Award. Dr. Rickman will offer a fascinating glimpse into the cutting-edge of astronomical research and the exciting discoveries that lie ahead.
You’ll also have the opportunity to network with fellow Sheffield graduates and friends in San Francisco and learn how your passions - and Sheffield’s potential - are set to shape the future.
Drinks and canapés will be served.
