Machine Learning and Data Science

What is machine learning? How does it work? What are the challenges?

In this interactive session you'll learn about how machine learning works and experiment with it yourself. We'll discuss some applications we're currently working on and some of the current challenges in the field, that we're working on here at the University of Sheffield.

You'll also have the chance to hear from and talk to current students studying computer science and find out what it's all about.

It was so interesting and fascinating to hear all about the history of computer science and what it would be like to study it at the University of Sheffield. It was such a terrific taster lesson, I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in computer science.
