Dutch author Raoul de Jong is visiting Sheffield Dutch Studies in December 2024. Translator John Eyck will join us from New York. Our public presentation will be on Tuesday 17 December at 5pm in Diamond Workroom 2. All welcome.

Liechtenstein is 300 years old today. To celebrate, Dr Seán Williams paraglided the length and breadth of it for The Economist and their cultural magazine, 1843, in order to get an overview - and tell its history for the general public. Dr Seán Williams was joined by New York photographer Gaia Squarci, and they had a rare audience with the prince.

Leïla spoke about her novel as well as sharing an insight into her work as a personal representative of the French President in promoting French language and culture across the world.
