Intro Week Info and Deadlines

Intro Week information is here: SEAS TPG Intro Week Schedule 2023 

Key Dates and Deadlines:

  • 2 September 2023: Online Module Selection opens. 
  • Monday 11–Friday 15 September 2023: University of Sheffield Orientation Week (Appointments begin for international students to complete immigration checks & collect Ucards. This must be done before attending teaching)
  • Monday 18–Friday 22 September 2023: University of Sheffield Welcome Week, including registration at the University
  • Monday 25 - Friday 29th September 2023: School of East Asian Studies Postgraduate Intro Week.  Important information will be given during School of East Asian Studies’ Intro Week and so we encourage you to be in Sheffield and fully registered by this date, or earlier, so that you do not miss out.  
  • Monday 2nd October - Teaching starts on the majority of East Asian Studies modules. Note: language modules start teaching on 25th September.
  • Registration deadlines: The 'last possible start date' is the latest date that you can start attending your course. You must complete your registration before you can attend your course. In some instances, registration may take several days to complete so you should allow adequate time to register in advance of the latest possible start date in case of any delays.
