Become a mentor

If you’re in your second year of research or above, you can sign up to be a PGR Connect mentor to provide informal peer support to new PGRs beginning their research journey. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and experience of postgraduate study.

As a mentor you’ll undertake some training and once completed, you’ll be matched to someone in their first year of their research.

You’ll be a friendly face for someone who may not have created as many connections or established a good work/life balance yet, providing them with support and help with general university life.
