The workshop, led and organised by Hollis and Ellen Nathues (Leuphana University) and hosted at the University of Vienna, saw 30 scholars, early career researchers, doctoral students and practitioners from the international organization and management studies community come together to analyse one another’s data from a variety of communicative and performativity perspectives. Attendees represented a wide variety of global business and communication schools including Copenhagen Business School, Leuphana University, Université de Montréal, Université TÉLUQ, University of Helsinki, University of Innsbruck, University of Nottingham and University of Twente.
An eclectic range of material was presented with novel perspectives on data generated, working papers developed and new collaborations formed.
The online version of the workshop continues to run on a quarterly basis and a second in-person variant is planned for July 2023.
