This research aims to improve support for people by finding out:
- What are their individual information needs?
- What stops people getting the information they need, and what helps them?
- How best to provide information.
The research will be guided by volunteers including people living with lung cancer, non-smoking lung cancer charities, and healthcare professionals.
The project will use a variety of research methods including a survey and interviews of people living with non-smoking lung cancer, interviews with cancer charities and healthcare professionals, and a co-production workshop to develop resources to help people living with non-smoking lung cancer.
