Description

Title: Humanitarian Reception of Forced Venezuelan Migrants in João Pessoa, Paraíba, Before and During the Covid-19 Pandemic (2019-2020)

Join us for this MRG Seminar, where Igor Serejo will talk about his work involving forced Venezuelan migrants in Brazil. This research on the humanitarian reception process of forced Venezuelan migrants is based on a Humanitarian Reception Index (HRI), which seeks to measure, through indicators encompassing Health, Housing, Food, and Clothing, the effectiveness of the reception of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Venezuelan individuals in João Pessoa, Paraíba. International Cooperation has become a fundamental tool for the proper reception of these individuals in the city.
