About this website

All About Linguistics is written and maintained by undergraduate linguistics students at the University of Sheffield, supported by staff in the School of English.

The website aims to share information about linguistics with people outside the University, including A-Level students thinking of going on to study linguistics, parents wishing to understand how their child is learning language, and anyone and everyone who is simply interested in language and its study.
