Italian

Italian is considered by many the most romantic and musical language in the world. It is the language of one of the richest culinary traditions but also of classical music, art history, design and fashion. Browse our Italian modules below and find the right level for you.

Degrees with Italian

These modules are for undergraduate students undertaking a BA Modern Languages and Cultures degree with the school and choosing Italian in their first year of study. Other options are available to students choosing Italian in their second year.

These modules are intended to build your proficiency in Italian over the years up to a near-native speaker level, taking into account any previous experience of the language you may have, whilst supporting your independent study of Italian culture.

Please visit the Italian Studies website information on available degrees and culture-related modules.
