Anran Ju

Anran's research interests focus on public's perception of Chinese diplomatic message on social media, especially Twitter. She is also involved in the discussion around nation branding through general digital and cultural approaches. Before joining the Department of Journalism studies in October 2022, she completed MSc Creative and Cultural Management in Management School and MA Social Research in Sheffield Methods Institute, University of Sheffield. Anran got her BA in Turkish Language and Literature from Communication University of China in 2018. Before returning back to the academia, Anran worked as a civil servant in the local government of Huairou, Beijing.
