I have had the opportunity to make connections with others from all over the world.
I came to Sheffield in order to fulfil my life-long dream of studying in the UK. I had very high expectations that were met and even exceeded. When I first came here, I was amazed by how different aspects of life differ from the life that I was used to in Peru, it was a nice change of pace because it allowed me to appreciate small things that in Peru I would have probably ignored.
Thanks to studying here, I have had the opportunity of making connections from all over the world, which I truly believe it will benefit me in the future. I encourage everyone to study in the UK because it helps you mature as a person, it provides you with a different experience when analysing things and, more importantly, it allows you to expand your horizons.
What I love about Sheffield is that everything is in a close distance! I always walk. I lived near The Diamond area, so it only took me about 5-10 minutes to get anywhere, unless I go to the Management School, which takes me around 30 minutes. However, the thing is that Sheffield is so green and beautiful that it has made me love walking, plus it is always good as cardio, too!
