The University of Sheffield has really exceeded my expectations

Being awarded this scholarship is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life and I am very grateful for the opportunity that the university has given me. 

At Sheffield I have the chance to explore a wide range of modules and this unique flexibility allows me to personalise the degree on the basis of my interests. I immediately found my degree fascinating because it covers a research area that connects multiple disciplines. I find all professors to be really engaging, and this makes it easier to understand the content of each module. Furthermore, they are always available to answer any questions we may have and they always provide us with all the tools we need to prepare for the exams. Sheffield also has the best Students’ Union in the country, so I knew that I would have immediately felt part of its inclusive community. 

Without the scholarship I wouldn’t have been able to study in the UK. I can now study in a fantastic university and focus on completing a degree that really interests me and that can help me achieve my future career goals. I know that by studying at the University of Sheffield I will gain the knowledge and develop all the skills I need to become a great researcher.
