Sheffield is a very good University with a prestigious global reputation and great facilities.

I firstly heard about the University of Sheffield through my agent who recommended applying. Sheffield is a very good University with a prestigious global reputation and great facilities. It's a very green and comfortable city, organised with a peaceful atmosphere.

The University buildings are beautiful and the library facilities are great. Most importantly, it has a slogan of ‘we are international’ and it welcomes students from all over the world.

My course is combines modules in the Management School and Economics Department. Therefore, I could learn both accounting and economics which both attracted me. There is support for students in their Departments and across campus. For example, staff at the Job Shop helped me to create a Careers Service account so I can access information about available positions for paid work. 

I also joined the Investment Society and Artificial Intelligence Society at the Students' Union. The first uses software to trade online and the second is for learning about artificial intelligence and coding. I decided to join them because I am interested in both these areas. These societies provide a platform for people with similar interests to communicate.
