Profile

I am a Research Associate at iHuman and the Social Sciences Research Institute. I am working on the Wellcome Trust funded project ‘Anti-ableist Research Culture’ on the ‘Cross-Cutting Themes’ stream. We are an interdisciplinary team of disabled and non-disabled researchers experimenting on creating inclusive anti-ableist working environments, from recruitment to methods.

Research interests

I am a disabled philosopher of disability. My work has ranged from relational ontology (Spinoza, Philippine philosophy) and shared decision-making in healthcare to knowledges of care in relation to long COVID (Massively Disabled Podcast). I also work on producing podcasts as part of a scholarly podcasting practice.
