Join us for the 2026 Disability Matters Online Symposium.

Hosted by the Disability Innovation Institute UNSW, in partnership with the Disability Matters Project. 

In this online event, we will discuss emotional labour for people with disability, a topic which came out of the 2024 symposium. Emotional labour can be present in advocacy, research, and disability rights. There will be opportunity to discuss the role of allyship in disability advocacy.

•  Introduction (2 minutes) 
•  Session with 3 presenters (45 minutes)
•  Comfort break (3 minutes)
•  Q&A and open discussion (up to 10 minutes)
•  Close (2 minutes)
