Unlocking the full potential of menstrual blood

Endometriosis affects 190 million women globally. The current diagnosis timeline taking on average 9 years and 4 months is unacceptable and we believe a change is much-needed. Our product, the EndoPad kit, speeds up the diagnosis of endometriosis using biomarkers present in menstrual blood, without the need for the sample to be sent to a lab.

Winning this award has been an incredible experience that has improved our confidence and allowed us to develop important skills for setting up a business. We are so grateful to have had this opportunity, and are excited to see what the future holds for our idea. We are looking forward to connecting with others who are passionate about improving women’s healthcare, and hopefully making this ‘Conceptual Idea’ a reality!

Plans for the next 6 months

We will be building a network of those who are dedicated to improving women’s healthcare, searching for people who have the skills to make this idea a reality. We will be searching for further grants in order to start our scientific research and hopefully start working towards building a prototype.
