Placements in Yorkshire Networking Event 2025
Are you a local business who would be in a position to offer an Industrial Placement Year and/or summer internship, specifically for engineering and/or computing students starting in summer 2025? If so, our Placements in Yorkshire Networking Event could be the perfect option for you!
Placements in Yorkshire, is an event which has been successfully delivered over the past 7+ years, and focuses on linking companies from the local region, with engineering and computing students from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
You will have the opportunity to give a short pitch about your company and the opportunities you have, and then students will have the opportunity to speak to you on a 1-1 basis to find out more.
Our Placements in Yorkshire event is well received by employers.
We came away from the February 2024 event with a number of hard copy CVs and have already had several more by email in the short time since. It looks like we will have an excellent range of candidates for this year’s placements and we look forward to attending again next year.
