What is Diamond+

Diamond+ enables you to:

  • Work on an undergraduate or postgraduate project

  • Use lab facilities for a co-curricular activity you are involved with

  • Work on an idea of your own that's not directly related to your studies

  • Expand your skills and knowledge in a particular area

Diamond Engineering staff run a number of clubs and workshops that enable students to learn a new skills or hone existing skills and these include:

  • Electronics
  • Bike maintenance
  • Machine shop training (turning and milling)
  • Cutlery Club

Students can also request access to Diamond lab equipment, use the iForge Makerspace, use the Aerospace facilities and join a student-led project/

International scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international students, including undergraduate and postgraduate taught scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee.

Applications are open for existing offer holders for programmes starting in autumn 2025.
