Diamond Wednesdays (Electronics and Control)

The Electronics & Control lab runs Diamond Wednesday sessions from 1pm to 2.30pm every Wednesday during term time.

These sessions are primarily aimed (but not exclusively) at 1st year engineering students from any discipline.

The aim is for students to develop or improve upon their practical circuit building skills in a stress-free environment.  The session plan for each semester is published both on twitter (#diamondwednesdayTUOS) and displayed on the main E&C lab door in advance.

All engineering students are also encouraged to come to these sessions to work on their own electronics projects or assignments and get help from the laboratory staff if they wish.

In addition to in-person sessions, there is a web-based Diamond Electronics page for students to work on their circuit building skills remotely in their own time.

If you have any questions please contact Jon Fullwood (j.fullwood@sheffield.ac.uk)
