Nursery Relocation Works
Work has started at the Modular Building on Northumberland Road ahead of our nursery moving in later this year.
Minor alterations are being made inside the building alongside creating an outdoor play area so the Nursery, which is part of Sheffield Students' Union, can move from it's current location on Brunswick Street.
Planning Approval
Sheffield City Council have given planning approval for the change of use of the building from existing teaching space to a day nursery. The planning application reference is 25/02822/FUL.
Car Parking
Whilst the car park next to the building will continue to operate, the number of spaces will be reduced to allow for the outdoor play area. The mini bus parking area next to the car park entrance will change to hybrid use so it can also be used for nursery drop-off by parents. This will be supported with signage in the area.
The remaining parking bays are University of Sheffield Category B Permit parking spaces. For more information visit the parking pages of our website.
