What you can expect to do before and after your work placement with The Practice.

On

Before your placement

Pre-application activities may include

being assigned a student ‘buddy’ mentor
group placement preparation sessions
student networking opportunities
pre-placement 'confidence' surveys to establish how you feel before the programme
workshops
guided tours of our campus
enrolling on to our massive open online course (MOOC) in the six weeks before your placement

After your placement

Post-application activities may include

attending a lecture, with a Q&A session with an academic
application preparation
reflection and networking opportunities
post-placement 'confidence' surveys - to evaluate how your confidence has hopefully improved as a result of being on the programme
interview preparation support
