- Profile
-
I am a Research Assistant in the School of Clinical Dentistry. I completed my PhD in 2019, which explored the impact of oral health problems and their treatment on children and their families. I have since worked as a Research Assistant on a number of research projects, including several using child-centred research methods to give children a voice in research.
I am currently involved with research to develop and evaluate an educational intervention to increase the number of successful applications by people from disadvantaged backgrounds into health-related higher education, using an innovative online educational programme called NOWPAS (the Network of Online Widening Participation Access Schemes).
- Research interests
-
I am particularly interested in inclusive research, mixed-methods research and have a passion for communicating science, technology and research to wider audiences.
