This Chinese Calligraphy course requires no prior knowledge of Chinese language or Chinese writing skills.

You will practice the basics of Chinese calligraphy and get introduced to the main Chinese calligraphy styles and learn more about the cultural and historical message of the characters you write.

Give It A Go (GIAG) - What is it? Our workshops provide opportunities to learn new skills, hobbies or experiences. Many of our events are run by Clubs and Societies, so it gives you the opportunity to try something new - to decide if you would like to join them.

Calligraphy brushes ink and paper will be provided for use during each session. This course is suitable for anyone new to Calligraphy and for those who have experience with Calligraphy or previously attended our Calligraphy course.
