Adult Nursing: Preparing a Patient for a Procedure

Our Adult Nursing taster session will give you the chance to experience what being a nurse is really like.

Taking place at our Clinical Skills Centre at Sam Fox House, Northern General Hospital, you'll get the opportunity to take a patient's Vital Signs Observations, understanding the reason why taking all these details is important and necessary when caring for a patient.

You'll also have the chance to try your hand at simulated wound care, removing stitch staples and chest auscultations with our simulated dummy.

Please note that you should wear flat shoes to attend this taster day.
